HWA Act 2009

HWA was established under the Commonwealth’s Health Workforce Australia Act 2009 and is governed by a Board of Directors comprising nine nominees from the nine jurisdictions, three independent members and a chairman.

The HWA Board is the peak governing body of HWA.
