HWA Board

The HWA Board is the governing body of HWA.

The Board is responsible for ensuring the proper and efficient performance of Health Workforce Australia’s functions and is accountable in this role to AHMC.

The Board consists of the Chair, a nominee from the Commonwealth and each State and Territory and up to three other non-government members.

Membership of the inaugural Board was announced on 12 February 2010.
