HWA Board - Mr David Roberts

Mr Roberts has extensive experience in the operation and management of health workforce issues. In 2010–11 he was Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services Tasmania and Chairman of the Australian Health Ministers’ Advisory Council’s Health Policy Priorities Principal Committee. He was previously Chairman of the Australian Health Ministers’ Advisory Council’s National Registration Governance Committee and Health Workforce Principal Committee, and is a former Chief Executive Officer of the University of Birmingham and Warwickshire National Health Service Trust, in the United Kingdom. Mr Roberts was appointed as Tasmania’s nominee to the HWA Board in February 2010.
