| Closing date | 28th June 2010 |
| Information | Health Workforce Australia (HWA) sought tenders from suitably qualified organisations to undertake an extensive and detailed Australia-wide consultation and information gathering process across the health and education sectors. This project will establish an evidence base to inform decisions necessary for the implementation of the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) reform measures to increase the capacity of clinical training in Australia. A key measure of the reform package is the funding of clinical placements for professional entry health courses, which will act as a lever to create greater capacity in the system. This will be supported by the establishment of Integrated Regional Training Networks that will have a pivotal role in facilitating, identifying and aligning new placements across the higher education and clinical training sectors. |
