"What other research activities are planned or underway?"

"We will build on our national supply and demand model, which was developed in 2009, called the Macro Supply and Demand study. That study examined thirty professions and determined at a macro level the size of the workforce that we are likely to need out to 2025. This will give information to universities and to other key decision makers about decisions they might need to undertake in terms of training more people or training less people, in the case of potential oversupply, on employing people through immigration programs, or undertaking other interventions."
