The 2008 National Partnership Agreement (NPA) on Hospital and Health Workforce Reform includes a specific component to expand clinical training supervision capacity and competence. Health Workforce Australia (HWA) has prepared a Discussion Paper to consider supervision across professions and the educational continuum from professional entry through to post graduate and vocational training.
Consultation on issues canvassed in the Discussion Paper will help inform HWA’s development of a National Clinical Supervision Support Strategy and Framework.
Interested parties were requested to provide written submissions to HWA, addressing each of the policy options outlined in the Clinical Supervision Support Program Discussion Paper.
Please refer to the attached CSSP Communiqué for further details regarding the Clinical Supervision Support Program Discussion Paper.
Submission Process
Parties interested in providing a submission were required to address the requirements of the Submission Template document, which was available to download.
