Aged Care Workforce Reform Project

Under the National Health Workforce Innovation & Reform Strategic Framework for Action 2011-2015, the HWA Work Plan outlines its forward investment and deliverables. The Plan includes undertaking the implementation phase of a comprehensive package of evidence-based Aged Care Workforce Reform, with the aim of identifying ways of replicating innovative practices, learning about the adaptability to various settings, and identifying the existing barriers and the supports required for national large scale adoption.

The Aged Care Workforce Reform project will commence its work in early 2012 through funding organisations to implement the workforce evidence in four main areas, which span the continuum of health and aged care.
